‘Under Glass’

MORE THAN 20 paintings of Hermes Alegre, a member of the Saturday Group of artists, will be showcased in the exhibit, “Under Glass: A Decade After,” at the LRI Design Plaza from Oct. 15-24 at 210 Nicanor Garcia st., Bel-Air II, Makati City.
A Fine Arts graduate of the Philippine Women’s University, Hermes is noted for figurative paintings that extol women. His glass-garnished abstract art series breathes life into people, places and everything around them.
The show is curated by Ed Soler, and opens simultaneously with Manila Fame, the country’s premier design-and-lifestyle trade event, held twice a year. Visit the LRI Design Plaza for top-of-the-line furniture and furnishings from Monday to Saturday.
