NUESTRO. Headlines art show at Serendra on Oct. 1.
The new works of artist Bob Nuestro will be on display via the exhibit, “Urban Planning,” at Galleria Quattrocento, Serendra, Bonifacio Global City on Oct. 1 at 6 p.m. The show features a series of paintings and installation art inspired by images created from the concepts and theories of urban planning rendered into abstract compositions.
Nuestro shares his observations about urbanization, traffic gridlock and the widening gap between the rich and the poor, using his art as an educational tool.
The artist grew up in a house by the beach in Mindoro, where he maintains a studio. He has been living with his family in the United States since 2010. He is a former director of the Arias Art Space in Makati. Visit www.nuestrobob.com.
