What’s the best way to get the attention of Filipino consumers? Ride the #AlDubfever.
That’s just what two multinational companies did.
Walt Disney Studios on Friday released an AlDub-inspired meme using “Inside Out” characters on its Facebook Page.
As of Saturday 11 a.m., the post has received 17,085 likes and 2,411 shares.
The animated film “Inside Out” is popular enough but in tandem with the trending love team of Alden Richards and Yaya Dub (Maine Medoza) the post became viral.
The image shows a split-image of “Joy” and “Disgust” who have differing views on the country’s now most popular love team.
“#ALDUBOneMoreDay. Whose side are you on? #ifeelDISGUST #ifeelJOY,” the caption said.
Microsoft Philippines, on the other hand, released its own meme using the keyboard shortcut Alt and Tab. Alt + Tab is used to switch top-level windows without using a mouse.
“Alt + Tab. Minsan shortcut, madalas love team,” Microsoft said in its Twitter account.
The post, with the caption “Yung feeling na dumaan si boss sa likod mo. #AltTabForever #SaTamangPanahon,” has since been retweeted 186 times. KS/CDG
