It’s a date for AlDub fans!
Split-screen lovers Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza, also known as “Yaya Dub,” will have their first date on Saturday, September 19.
This was revealed during Thursday’s episode of the “Kalye Serye” segment on “Eat Bulaga.”
It was Lola Nidora, played by comedian Wally Bayola, who gave her blessing for the lovers to have their first date. Nidora presented the two with cupcakes with the letters D-A-T-E.
“Pinapayagan ko kayong mag-date ni Alden, (I am allowing the two of you to go out on a date),” Nidora said.
Hopefully, there will be no plywood that will separate the pair or an abduction which will mar the couple’s first date on Sept. 19.
Meanwhile, Maine and Alden played a matching game to see their compatibility. They answered seven questions such as: “Which do you prefer, a church or a beach wedding?” or “Beatles or One Direction?”
