FANS OF Meryl Streep are excited because their favorite actress is starring in a new “dramedy” opening this week at Ayala cinemas, “Ricki and the Flash.”
She plays a rock star in Jonathan Demme’s film, and portraying the lead guitar player in her band, The Flash, is real-life rock legend, Rick Springfield.
Novels into films
Some Pinoy novels turned into memorable films are showcased at the Manila International Bookfair from Sept. 16 to 20 at the SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia.
