Elizabeth Ramsey recovering from seizure due to diabetes

Actress-comedienne Elizabeth Ramsey is now recovering after she was rushed to the hospital last week, daughter Jaya Ramsey said.
In a post on her Facebook account Sunday night, the soul diva clarified that her mother did not suffer a stroke but she had a seizure due to diabetes/hyperglycemia.
“Mama Beth Ramsey did NOT have a stroke. Instead a seizure due to diabetes/hyperglycemia. She is moving and is recovering fast and communicates constantly,” the singer said.
She said that her mother did not want to stay in the hospital anymore.
The singer also thanked fans for their support and prayers for the speedy recovery of her mother.
“Thank you all very much for all the prayers. God bless you Mama and all of you who sent love and hugs!!! We love all of you,” Jaya added.
Last Thursday, Jaya said that her mother was rushed to the intensive care unit of the Philippine Heart Center due to stroke. AJH
