There’s a rumor going around Show Town. Action star Robin Padilla may back out of the horror flick, “Nilalang,” an entry in this December’s Metro Manila Film Festival, which also topbills Japanese adult video idol Maria Ozawa.
According to a mole, Padilla has decided to slow down in show biz, to take care of wife Mariel Rodriguez who is reportedly pregnant with triplets.
Betchay Vidanes, Padilla’s manager, laughed off the scuttlebutt.
Pressed to make a categorical statement, Vidanes told Rushes: “Just wait and see.”
Hmmm …
Bargain basement
Alluring Celebrity is not exactly desperate.
To be fair, AC’s career is on an upswing; recent projects have performed extremely well, against all odds.
Still, AC’s talent fee was slashed considerably by the bosses.
Was AC in no position to renegotiate?
