MANILA, Philippinnes — Even as all 18,000 tickets for “Wil Time Big Time’s” anniversary special on October 22 were given away Friday evening, thousands of fans continued to camp outside Amoranto Sports Complex in Quezon City this Saturday morning.
The crowd swelled after rumors spread that event organizers only released about 10,000 tickets.
In the Thursday episode of the variety show, host Willie Revillame said that tickets would be distributed on Saturday at 7 a.m.
People who trooped to the venue Friday night grew frustrated after learning that the tickets were released earlier than the announced date.
