Will Kris vote for ex-lover Herbert? ‘He has to convince me’

In an interview with reporters on Sunday, Aquino said that she still “needs to be convinced.”

“He has to convince me,” Aquino said before breaking into a hearty laugh.

She said that she will vote for Bautista because she thinks no one would run against him.

“Wala naman sigurong tatapat sa kanya so siguro naman (I think no one would run against him so I think I’ll vote for him),” she explained.

Last February, Aquino revealed in a blog post that Bautista asked her hand in marriage, only to break up with her days later.

They have since become friends with Bautista guesting in Aquino’s morning show “Kris TV” and teaming up for a movie directed by Antoinette Jadaone.

“Mahaba ang pinag-usapan namin ng brother ko (My brother and I had a long talk). He’s not the type who will ever impose,” the President’s younger sister said.

She further said that Senator Grace Poe is a friend and that that if she will support candidates other than Roxas, she will just keep mum.

“If I will not support the candidate of my brother, I’ll shut up,” she said.

The President endorsed Roxas in a “Gathering of Friends,” which included Liberal Party stalwarts and allies, last Friday at Club Filipino. AJH
