Presidential sister and actress Kris Aquino will be voting in Quezon City in 2016.
Aquino, who previously voted in Makati City as a resident of Barangay (village) Urdaneta, has transferred her registration to Quezon City after living in the city for the past 20 months.
In her transfer form shows that she is currently living in Barangay Bagumbayan.
In an interview with reporters, Kris said the transfer was not connected to any political plans for 2016.
She said that she would violate her endorsement contracts if she ran for office.
“(I won’t run for office because) I have contracts which unfortunately…no, fortunately, it’s a blessing, na matatapos sa 2017. So ang laki ng isosoli ko,” she said.

Kris was at the QC Comelec office in the City Hall complex for about an hour where she was stalled in the process of filling out her personal information in the three-page form.
Aside from filing a transfer of registration due to change of residency, the actress also needed to change her name in the Comelec database from “Kristina Conjuangco Aquino” to “Kristina Bernadette Conjuangco Aquino.”
She also interviewed Comelec officers on the registration process and vowed that she would turn her visit into an information campaign to urge Filipinos to register and have their biometrics taken for the upcoming 2016 polls.
