Van Ness Wu to perform for clothing line launch in BGC
Remember the popular boyband F4?
One fourth of what used to be that band is here.
Van Ness Wu, who also had a successful stint as an Asia’s Got Talent judge, arrived in the country on Friday to guest in the launch of a clothing brand’s new collection at a Taguig club on the same day.
The aircraft Wu was in, a Cathay Pacific plane with flight number CX-901, was supposed to arrive from Taiwan at exactly 11 a.m., but landed past that time instead.
Wu did not speak to the media waiting at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 lobby for his arrival.

Wu then boarded a white van that was waiting for him in the parking lot.
According to a press statement given to reporters by Levi’s, Wu was giving an “unforgettable performance” at the high-end Valkyrie club in Bonifacio Global City during the launch of a “transformational women’s jean collection” also on Friday.
“(This) is Levi’s way of thanking all the Levi’s female style seeker fans for patronizing the brand for years,” the statement said.
A staff coordinating the event said Wu was set to go back to Taiwan on Saturday, around noon.
Wu, together with Jerry Yan, Ken Chu and Vic Chou, formed the popular Taiwanese band F4.
Due to copyright issues, the band changed its name to JVKV in 2007.
The group did not officially disband, but each member pursued his own solo career subsequently.
