GUTIERREZ. Makes time for his daughters.

TONTON GUTIERREZ loves taking care of his two daughters, Aneeka, 3, and Aneeza, 10. As a father, he doesn’t play favorites. For bonding purposes, they go to TimeZone on weekends or have pizza delivered at home.

The actor raises his daughters the way he was raised by his mom, Liza Lorena. He shares, “I tell them to keep their feet on the ground, be God-fearing and go to Mass.” He’s extra patient when they become “makulit” (importunate).

What he loves about his kids is their sweetness: “When I come home from work, they hug and kiss me, and tell me they miss me!”

Tonton works hard to find balance in his work and family life: “If they have something in school, I make sure I’m there—even if I’m exhausted. Fathers should support their kids and attend to their needs. But, I always remind my daughters to obey us, their parents—and get a college degree!”
