“You can count the scenes of Leo Rialp on TV5’s ‘Sa Ngalan ng Ina’ on the fingers of one hand, but in every scene he’s in, you can feel his presence and character. I believe this is because he knows where (or how) his scenes are going,” shares Jorge Demafeliz, banker.
“Rialp’s being a theater actor and director has a lot to do with his exceptional portrayal. I am glued in front of my TV set when he’s in a scene with Nora Aunor – they know how to deliver their lines without resorting to histrionics. Watching these two acting greats together is like attending an engrossing acting workshop. I want to see more of Mr. Rialp – and, of course, it’ll be a bonus if the Superstar is in the scene with him!”

Jun Aguila, computer analyst: “Some months ago, I heard a broadcaster calling a controversial show biz director a National Artist. Has the National Artist Award fiasco already been resolved? Media people should verify their facts carefully before imparting information to the public.

“Meanwhile, what’s happening to Sol Aragones? She recently received a citation from an award-giving body. Since then, in her news reports, she looks like she has been trying to prove that she ‘deserves’ the award – it makes her look self-conscious and trying-hard.”
Bambi Saludar, televiewer: “GMA 7’s ‘Amaya’ has become an ‘addiction’ for me and my friends – it’s a teleserye with a good story and substance; even kids can learn valuable lessons from it.”
