FORMER “Game of Thrones” actor and DC comics film star Jason Momoa, is set to visit the Philippines for a comic and pop culture convention.
The 35-year-old actor, who is best known for his role as “Khal Drogo” in the hit American series, will guest the AsiaPop Comicon 2015 (APCC), which will be held on September 17 to 20 at the World Trade Center.
Momoa, who will appear as Aquaman in the upcoming Hollywood films “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice” and “Justice League,” will be joined by several other international personalities.
American voice actor Jeremy Shada, who gives life to Cartoon Network character “Finn” of “Adventure Time” will also grace the APCC along with his band Make Out Monday.
Participants will also have the chance to meet and greet Filipino comic artist Whilce Portacio who has inked several comics for Image and Marvel such as Heroes Reborn: Iron Man, X Force, and Batman Confidential.
Toy artists Amanda Louise Spayd and Chris Ryniak are also set to guest the APCC.
Cosplayers and comic fans are in for a treat with the world’s biggest cosplay competition—The CAGE or Cosplay Authority Global Challenge.
