Former child actor Jiro Manio remained in police custody Tuesday night at the airport police division of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) Terminal 3, where he was seen being checked by the airport’s medical staff.
Airport Police Officer 2 Robert Valenzuela said Manio had scratches and wounds in parts of his body.
The airport police took custody of Manio on Tuesday, four days after the actor was seen roaming around the airport’s departure area and asking for food from eateries.
After being taken into custody, Valenzuela said Manio requested that he be placed in an isolated room with no media interview.
Reports said Manio would be picked up by her relatives anytime Tuesday night.
