Filipino actor wins in Naples

Filipino Benjamin Barcellano Jr. won best supporting actor for Andrea Bosca’s short film “A Tutto Tondo” at the Premio Napoli Cultural Classic 2015, held in Naples, Italy, on May 30. Bosca’s directorial debut won best short film, too. Last year, “A Tutto Tondo” was shown at the Moviemov Italian Film Festival in Manila. The film tells the story of an Italian man who meets an overseas Filipino worker’s family in Rome. Barcellano used to work as teacher and actor for the Philippine Educational Theater Association.
