REGINE Velasquez misses her late father Mang Gerry.

Glib Host often acts holier-than-thou on air. GH is quick to judge others who make mistakes in public, too.

Inevitably, karma soon caught up with GH.

Netizens are now waging an online campaign against GH. They claim that there is something fishy in the unholy alliance between GH and Controversial Celebrity.

FEATURED STORIES

No wonder GH keeps defending indefensible CC.

Enemies are now gathering evidence and plan to petition for GH’s ouster from home studio.

They made the bosses aware of GH’s indiscretions. They seriously want GH’s head on a silver platter.

Rampaging ego

Veteran Insider’s ego is getting more bloated (and unwieldy) every day.

VI kept bad-mouthing Gifted Friend during a splashy event. VI was unaware that most of the people in the room were loyal to GF.

VI claimed that the occasion’s hosts were not interested in GF at all. “They only wanted to hang out with me and couldn’t care less about GF.”

Alas, GF’s loyal minions made certain that VI was unmasked. VI’s duplicity soon reached GF who went ballistic.

VI was rattled.

Turned out VI was no match for GF at all.

Nocturnal noise

Residents in a high-rise are fed up with the nocturnal activities of Hunky Charmer.

No, HC raises a racket not in the bedroom, but in the gym.

Primarily because of the paper-thin walls, neighbors would often overhear HC huffing and puffing in the dead of the night.

Worse, HC would throw around dumbbells and other exercise equipment as if he was having a lousy day.

Sleepless neighbors would get disturbed by the crashing sound of metal on the floor and of HC grunting like a wild animal in the wee hours.

Wrong number

Stunning Starlet thought she had found Mr. Right in Cutie Hunk.

Unfortunately, CH turned out to be Mr. Wrong for so many reasons. CH was no Prince Charming—more like Prince of Darkness.

CH treated SS shabbily all throughout their doomed affair.

CH asked SS to make all the arrangements for a dream holiday. SS diligently accomplished all of CH’s requests.

When it was time for the trip, CH left SS hanging in the air—quite figuratively.

CH left town on his own, abandoning SS back home.

Ouch!

C for chutzpah

From the Inquirer tabloid Bandera:

  • Charming Hunk got a rather harsh reality check from the execs.
  • Delusional CH demanded a hefty raise and a more lucrative contract from current studio.
  • Flabbergasted Bosses were turned off by CH’s temerity.
  • CH was insistent, so the FBs told him the ugly truth, that he didn’t deserve the increase because his track record was hardly impressive.
  • CH has yet to top-bill a hit, on both the big and small screens. All CH has going for him is his abrasive chutzpah.

  • For those who missed last weekend’s “Startalk” on GMA 7 (and why we are moved, if we are moved):
  • Judy Ann Santos on her current pregnancy: “I was comfortable during my pregnancy with Lucho … Ngayon, five weeks pa lang feeling ko five months na! Mas hirap lang kumilos.” (Things change as we get older.)
  • Juday on the bodily changes: “May mga buntis na hindi mukhang buntis. Ako ’yung buntis na mukhang buntis!” (Insert pregnant pause here.)
  • Regine Velasquez, asked if she wants to have a second baby: “Matanda na ako when I had Nate so miracle na ’yun. We’re so blessed to have him. If God’s going to give us one more, I’d be happy. If not, it’s okay.” (Amen.)
  • Regine on her second Father’s Day without Mang Gerry: “I miss him terribly.” (Awwww…)
  • Vice Ganda, asked about the rumored rift between James Yap and son Bimby Yap: “Si Kris (Aquino) matalik kong kaibigan, si James nakakausap ko rin minsan-minsan … Pero ayokong makisawsaw sa issue nila.” (Smart. Very smart. )
  • James says all is well between him and Bimby: “Okay na… nagkaayos na. ’Di naman malaking problema. Ang mahalaga ay nagkita kami at masaya siya, masaya ako. Na-miss ko siya.” (Happy ending. )
  • Jennylyn Mercado on entering a new relationship: “Hindi pa ako sure. Pero kung magkakaroon ako ng bagong karelasyon, kung sino man ’yun… siguro mas maganda ’yung tahimik.” (Not siguro. Sigurado.)
  • Jennylyn on settling down: “Depende. If worth it naman at tanggap niya ang buong pagkatao ko at ang pamilya ko, go na.” (Good luck.)
  • Pinky Amador on friends Monique Wilson and Rossana Abueva’s marriage: “Congratulations and all the best! I love you.” (Congrats!)
  • Sunshine Cruz on living without estranged husband Cesar Montano: “I’m happy. I’m with my three kids. Pwede bang huwag na nating pag-usapan ’yan? Hahaha!” (That’s show biz!)

Sunshine on the rumor that Cesar’s new girlfriend is pregnant: “Okay lang… We’ve been separated for two years, hindi man sa papel. I believe everyone deserves to be happy. And if he’s happy, good for him.” (You’re far kinder compared to others.)

SUNSHINE Cruz has nothing but good wishes for her ex-husband.
