Love: The feeling is strange to ‘Papa P.’ INQUIRER.NET FILE
WITH an upcoming movie about love and break-ups, Piolo Pascual gives an indirect answer on how “Papa P” falls in love.
Piolo says what’s important is to acknowledge that there is a higher being and to try to simplify life.
“You need to realize that there is God kasi kung hindi, magiging mayabang ka,” (If you don’t, you’d become proud) the actor said in an interview with dzMM morning show “Sakto.”
He continued, “I mean it’s all going to pass. Everything is temporary. You can’t own anything so just enjoy it. Do your best with whatever is given to you.”
The actor added that he had no time to maintain a love life since he preferred to spend his free time with his son Iñigo instead.
“I’m a very simple person. I’d rather simplify my life by doing things that matter at the moment instead of complicating it by doing several things.”
Piolo added that he didn’t know how it felt like to be madly in love since he hadn’t experienced the feeling yet.
“Hindi ko alam yung feeling na magmahal na kayang i-sacrifice lahat. Siguro, I’m not that guy,” (I don’t know how it feels to love and sacrifice everything) he said.
Piolo stars with pop star Sarah Geronimo in a new movie titled “The Breakup Playlist” which is set to hit theaters on July 1. Arianne F. Merez, Inquirer.net intern
