Health care is one of our government’s top priorities—but, it also needs bright minds from the private sector to help deliver health services to the poor.
Karen Alparce-Villanueva is passionate about helping others. So, she launched Health PRx, an agency that assists advocacies addressing health issues and concerns, on her birthday, June 5.
One of Karen’s first clients is the Philippine Alliance of Patient Organizations (PAPO), the umbrella group whose voices she wants to be heard and taken seriously.
I flew as a flight attendant with Karen’s father-in-law, the late Capt. Roy Villanueva. Now, my daughter, Amanda, is flying with her husband, Capt. Joey Villanueva. She uses her God-given talent and years of experience so that others may have a better future!
