Darren wants to be an actor

Teen singer Darren Espanto, who had a splashy solo concert at the Mall of Asia Arena on May 29, says he would like to try acting someday.

He hopes his loyal fans will continue to support him when he makes the big switch from music to the movie and television scenes.

“I’ve always been fascinated by actors whenever I watch them in drama shows. I’d love to be in a movie or TV show (in the future). I never thought that after ‘The Voice Kids,’ I’d find a new family in my fans, the Darrenatics. I’m happy because of their dedication and support.” Marinel R. Cruz
