Veteran Performer should avoid having one drink too many.
From sweet-natured saint, VP becomes a slippery Lothario when soused. Charming Acquaintance had a creepy encounter with VP one fateful night.
In a smoky bar, VP accosted CA and kept asking for a “date.” As the night progressed, VP became more aggressive. VP proposed to shack up with CA who was spooked.
As CA was about to flee, desperate VP then quipped: How about one night of passion?
Yikes.
Carry that weight
Beautiful Starlet is carrying extra poundage these days. Chubby BS still looks fetching, though.
Why is BS bingeing of late? Is BS so happy that she couldn’t care less about her looks?
Rumor has it, Current Boyfriend is such a headache that BS is resorting to stress-eating.
Is it true that CB can be a bully?
Harried, hurried
For someone who is notoriously media savvy, Posh Celebrity turned off not a few people.
During a splashy event, PC kept making sarcastic remarks. PC was obviously in a rush to leave. Not a few guests were offended by PC’s behavior.
Funny thing was, while PC was forced to stay behind, most of the invitees left in a huff.
No one bothered to chat with PC.
State of dependence
Moles are snickering about the supposed passionate romance between Visiting Hunk and Industry Insider. Envious much?
Well, life with VH is hardly a bed of roses for II. VH’s career is currently in limbo so he has no choice but to depend on II for monetary support.
Still VH insists on pursuing his dreams of stardom which seem elusive, though.
How long can II tolerate (read: finance) VH’s illusions?
Hair-raiser
From the Inquirer tabloid Bandera:
Perky Starlet can be as troublesome as Impetuous Beau. Coworkers complain of PS’ unpredictable behavior.
PS cut her hair short, in spite of a project’s requirements. The bosses gave PS a major tongue-lashing because PS needed to keep her tresses long for additional scenes.
As such, the hair and makeup staff had to work double time and use extensions on PS—causing unnecessary delays on the set.
Back-to-school babe
Apart from being an Inquirer Read-Along ambassador, ABS-CBN teen star Alexa Ilacad is also the newest endorser of BUM, the brand of choice of teen celebs like ABS-CBN’s Nash Aguas, Ella Cruz and Jane Oineza, and GMA 7’s Bianca Umali and Miguel Tanfelix (who are collectively known as the “Black Army”).
A “Goin’ Bulilit” alum and “Luv U” mainstay, Alexa is a perfect fit for the brand because she’s adventurous, fashion-wise. The 15-year-old lass can go from girly to hip and rugged.
“I am happy to be a BUM endorser. The outfits are colorful, but I also go for dark clothes,” Alexa said. “With BUM, I can enjoy the best of both worlds.”
For Alexa’s first shoot, the brand’s “Black2School” collection, she got to work with the other endorsers, including Nash, her partner and other half of “NLex” love team.
Since it was her first time to do an edgy campaign, Alexa relied on Nash to keep her at ease. She recalls, “It really helps if you are close to your coworker.”
BUM’s “Black2School” collection is available at BUM boutiques and department stores nationwide. For more information, visit wwww.bumequipment.com.ph or follow @officialbumph on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook.
Top of the Talk Shows
For those who missed last weekend’s “Startalk” on GMA 7 (and why we are moved, if we are moved):
Sen. Chiz Escuero on wife Heart Evangelista’s parents visiting them recently: “Maayos naman ’yung dinner. Kung ano man ’yung mga gusot noon, unti-unti nang naaayos ngayon.” (We said it before and we’ll say it again: Blood is thicker than water.)
Heart on her parents starting to warm up to her Sen. Chiz: “Parang nabunutan ako ng tinik … Sobang saya.” (See above.)
Vic Sotto on rumors that he’ll be proposing to Pauleen Luna in Hong Kong: “Hindi. Bakasyon lang ng ‘Eat Bulaga!’ yon.” (Hmmm …)
Dingdong Dantes, asked if his first baby with Marian Rivera is a boy or girl: “Wala pa. Pero hopefully very soon [malalaman na namin].” (Whatever the gender, that’ll be a beautiful baby.)
Marian on her cravings: “Kahit na anong puting candy… Pero si Dong talaga ’yung lagi kong hinahanap.” (Naks.)
“Asia’s Got Talent” finalist Gerphil Flores on recently sharing the stage with one of her idols, Regine Velasquez: “Talagang super honored at blessed ako. Kinabahan ako.” (Sis naman. You’re also good!)
Rachelle Ann Go, who plays Fantine in “Les Miz” in West End, asked if she has a love life: “I do eight shows a week!” (That doesn’t answer the question.)
