A new batch of winning “nature defenders” was proclaimed Sunday night during the Miss Philippines Earth pageant at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Manila City’s Angelia Gabrena Ong led the winners, snatching the coveted 2015 title from 37 other beauties from all over the country.
The proclaimed “elemental” winners were Miss Philippines Air Chanel Olive Thomas (San Antonio, Nueva Ecija), Miss Philippines Fire Carla Angela Valderrama (Siniloan, Laguna), Miss Philippines Water Catherine Joy Marin (Bago City) and Miss Philippines Ecotourism Jona Sweet (Iloilo City).
