ST declined the project.
ST refuses to share the same breathing space as CC.
What could have elicited such a vehement reaction from ST? Perhaps ST heard of CC’s prima-donna ways.
CC barred ST’s contemporaries, Veteran Performer and Experienced Entertainer, from staying in the communal dressing room.
ST merely wants to avoid the same rude treatment.

Well-meaning Pal has a theory.
WP thinks Troubled Star is merely rebelling because of a traumatic childhood. TS had a stormy past.
TS was already abused and oppressed before joining the biz. Becoming rich and famous didn’t spare TS from further heartbreak.
Aside from a series of personal setbacks, TS was often cheated and exploited by trusted friends and associates.
Alas, TS likewise dumped WP after she had discovered an unforgivable act of betrayal.
WP ended up on a very long list of TS’ banned frenemies.
Blame game
Popular Star is flabbergasted.
PS has been loyal to Top Company for years.
PS is stunned by Nosy Coworker’s big revelation. NC claims the Big Bosses blame PS for the failure of Doomed Project.
On paper, DP seemed promising, but it somehow flopped big time. PS had a perfectly valid question: “Why only me? ”
After all, PS was merely added to DP to bolster the stock of Perky Starlet and Beleaguered Partner.
PS and BP were just as responsible for DP’s failure.
