Cheer Factor: ‘Damgo’ in Viennale

After the 33rd Moscow International Film Festival last June, indie filmmaker Remton Siega Zuasola’s “Ang Damgo ni Eleuteria” will be screened at the Viennale, from October 20 to November 2. Considered Austria’s biggest and most important cinema event, the Vienna International Film Festival is now in its 50th year. “Damgo” earlier topped the Cinema One and Cinemanila fests and the Urian Awards.—Bayani San Diego Jr.
