Lee Min-ho donates $90,000 for Nepal quake relief
Korean actor Lee Min-ho has donated 100 million won ($92,500) to help the victims of the recent earthquake in Nepal.
The magnitude-7.8 earthquake hit Nepal on April 25, claiming more than 7,250 lives and leaving over 14,120 injured.
Lee made the donation through the Korean Committee for Unicef, registered under the name of his fan club “Minoz,” according to his management Tuesday.
A management spokesperson said, “We hope that the people who are suffering from the unexpected disaster will recover (from the earthquake at least) one day sooner.
“The reason why (Lee Min-ho) made the donation under his fan club’s name is because he personally wished to repay the support he has continued to receive from them,” the spokesperson said.
