Hong Kong action star Jackie Chan in a theater lobby. “It all happened so fast,” Curtis told the Inquirer. “As we say in Filipino, kilig!”
Fortunately, filmmaker Chris Martinez was nearby, and took a quick snapshot of the two. “Jackie was suddenly there and there was a loud, happy commotion,” Martinez recalled.
Curtis and Martinez are in the Italian fest for the screening of their film, “The Gifted,” “Udine is the coolest festival in the world,” Martinez said. “It’s my fourth time here.”
Chan’s latest martial-arts epic “Dragon Blade” opened the fest, which ends May 2. Bayani San Diego Jr.
