39 celebrities among top 500 income taxpayers in 2013

The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has listed 39 celebrities belonging to the top 500 taxpayers for 2013.

The BIR earlier declared Manny Pacquiao the top individual taxpayer for 2013, paying  P163.8 million in regular income taxes as of Nov. 24, 2014.

According to the “Tax Watch” ad released by the Department of Finance on Wednesday, actor Piolo Pascual placed 14th in the list, paying P42.5 million in regular income taxes while actor John Lloyd Cruz ranked 15th, paying P41.9 million in income taxes.

Meanwhile, presidential sister and top celebrity endorser Kris Aquino placed 16th, paying P40.4 million in income taxes.

The other celebrities included in the top 100 income taxpayers list for 2013 are: Megastar Sharon Cuneta (19th), returning Kapuso TV host Willie Revillame (20th), Anne Curtis (36th), Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo (44th), Coco Martin (52nd), Vic Sotto (53rd), Ramon S. Fernandez (70th), Kim Atienza (72nd), Michael V (93rd) and Sarah Geronimo (99th).

The celebrities in the top 100 taxpayers list paid income taxes ranging from P163 million to P16 million.

The following personalities were also included: Dingdong Dantes, Mike Enriquez, Bea Alonzo, Charo Santos, Boy Abunda, Ogie Alcasid, Derek Ramsay, Angelica Panganiban, Robin Padilla, Noli de Castro, Joey de Leon, Kim Chiu, Vice Ganda, KC Concepcion, Toni Gonzaga, Angel Locsin, Luis Manzano, Ai Ai de las Alas, Jessica Soho, Lauren Dyogi, Mel Tiangco, Daniel Padilla, Bong Revilla, Chris Tiu and Vhong Navarro.
