LAS VEGAS— Mariah Carey is getting ready to make a grand entrance to celebrate her Las Vegas Strip debut that will bring her chart-topping hits to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

The pop icon is appearing at the casino-hotel Monday night to celebrate her 18-show residency called “Mariah #1 to Infinity.” It starts May 6 with dates through July.

The show is timed with the debut of Carey’s newest breakup single and music video dubbed “Infinity.”

The Grammy winner is among the best-selling female solo artists of all time and joins the ranks of Celine Dion, Elton John, Rod Stewart and Shania Twain, who have all taken up residency at The Colosseum. Pop star Britney Spears performs at Planet Hollywood.

Tickets for Carey’s show are priced from $55 to $250.
