Kathryn Bernardo draws up a personal favorites list
TEEN star can survive on pizza and chicken all day.
At age 19, Kathryn Bernardo, ambassador for OraCare Mouthrinse’s latest campaign, “It’s Real Good for Me,” knows what things make her happy, and what will help her achieve her dreams. Here are some favorites:
Favorite book
Kathryn likes reading books, especially by best-selling author Nicholas Sparks “because he is a very detailed narrator and moving storyteller.” She cites “The Last Song” as her favorite among Sparks’ long list of titles. “It explores not just the subject of romance, but also family relationships, specifically the father-daughter bond,” Kathryn explains.
Favorite food
Pizza and chicken. She could eat only these all day, the actress dubbed “Teen Queen” says. “Separately or together, they’re my… comfort food!”
Favorite workout
Core exercise. Kathryn has to maintain good health and looks. She enjoys core exercising because, she notes, it improves her balance and stability.
Favorite animals
Dogs! After an exhausting work day, just seeing her dogs relaxes her, Kathryn says.
Favorite music
Jack Johnson’s music is her choice. “His songs are light and easy, and always make me feel good, night or day. They speak to me. It’s like, they describe how I feel.”
Favorite destination
Los Angeles, California. “Very chill and laid-back,” Kathryn points out. “When I’m in the City of Angels, I can truly de-stress and reflect on many things.”
Role model
“My mom (Min)!” she exclaims. “She’s my rock! My mom is a very strong woman and I idolize her.”
