Protecting the world we live in

Earth Day is fast approaching. Some insights on the key event:

Just as a mother feels great love for the father who heads the family, Mother Earth is happy when we recognize and appreciate Father God.

The earth does not belong to us—we don’t own it. Therefore, we have no right to destroy it for our own purposes.

It makes mothers happy when their children help them clean the house. Earth Day should be treated as “clean-up” day. But, don’t burn garbage, because it pollutes the air we breathe.

We should show how much we care for Mother Earth by not living irresponsibly—polluting the environment, overconsuming, producing harmful objects, and killing other living beings that play important roles in this world.

Cleanliness pleases Mother Earth and Father God.

One of the greatest causes of environmental destruction is cattle production, which leads to denuded forests for grazing. On Earth Day, let’s refrain from eating beef and help save our forests.

A simple diet and lifestyle and a good heart can bring us closer to Mother Earth. We spend less money and energy when we lead a meaningful life.

The good celebration of Earth Day comes from a nurturing heart.

To celebrate it, let’s refrain from using firecrackers and producing more trash. As children of the Supreme, let us live each day with the awareness that we have a responsibility to take care of and protect the world that has been entrusted to us!
