Earth Hour beckons

The world celebrates Earth Hour today, March 28. With these quotes, let us think about our connection with a special Mother, who provides us food, air, water and shelter:

A caring mother looks after her child 24/7 without asking for payment or reward. She serves even if at times the child abuses her kindness. Mother Earth is a caring mother—so, we should think about how we treat the rivers, forests, land and air. Do we respect or destroy her beauty? Do we care for her as much as she cares for us?

One hour a day once a year will never be enough to show our appreciation for Mother Earth. It should be treated as an act of offering and thanksgiving for our loving “mother.”
