Auditions for local rock musical

Red Lantern Productions announces final auditions this Sunday, March 22, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., for the rock musical “Kabesang Tales,” adapted from Dr. Jose Rizal’s “El Filibusterismo.”

The production needs male (18 to 50 years old) and female (18 to 40 years old) performers who can sing and dance, for lead and ensemble roles.

Multi-awarded screenwriter Ricky Lee wrote the libretto.

Applicants for singing roles should prepare two song numbers (pop-rock and ballad); dancers, two routines (modern and jazz).

Please bring close-up and full-body photos, minus-one accompaniment, and a short résumé.
