Demi Lovato in Manila; Nick Jonas is creative director
American singer-actress and former Disney star Demi Lovato holds her second Manila concert on April 30 at SM Mall of Asia (MoA) Arena.
The one-night-only show is part of her fourth world tour, launched last year in support of her fourth album, “Demi.”
The concert tour and record signaled a redemption of sorts for Lovato. She underwent and overcame depression, drug addiction and eating disorders a few years ago. The 12-time Teen Choice Award winner, who shot to fame via the Disney show “Camp Rock,” has since appeared in various shows and become a judge for the second and third seasons of the talent search “X Factor.”
Best known for the hit “Skyscraper,” the 22-year-old promises new songs and covers for the MoA concert (mounted by Wilbros Live), which features Lovato’s longtime friend and “Camp Rock” costar Nick Jonas as creative director.
