I had never met anyone who made me feel as happy as she does. I’m blessed to have her. She’s my lover, my soulmate, my best friend.

We are good. I’m very happy to spend time with him and my family. Watching him play with Chelsea is priceless.

When your kids are old enough, what will you teach them about life and love?

I will tell them to always pray and have faith because when you have the Lord in your life, everything works out for the best.

What excites and/or scares you about marriage?

I am coming into this without fear because I trust in the Lord completely. I am extremely excited.

Where will you have your honeymoon?

Nikka and I will go to the beach. Next month we will go abroad with Chelsea.

Jed the judge

Jed Madela is ecstatic to be part of ABS-CBN’s new show, “Your Face Sounds Familiar” (Saturdays after “MMK” and Sundays after “Rated K”). It’s time for Jed to play judge and the voice of experience.

Here’s my tête-à-tête with Jed:

Why should we watch “Your Face Sounds Familiar”?

It’s the first show of its kind—a musical competition where eight celebrities impersonate famous artists.

If you could look like someone else, who would it be?

Brad Pitt, so I can sweep an Angelina Jolie lookalike off her feet.

If you could sound like someone else, who would it be?

Adam Levine. But I’m happy with my sound.

How did your recent throat problem change you as a singer?

That health scare made me realize that I’m only human and I should take it easy. I’m a bit more disciplined and cautious now.

What will set you, Sharon Cuneta, and Gary Valenciano apart in judging styles?

Each of us has a different focus. Gary will pay attention to the voice, Sharon on the overall impact and I will concentrate on a performer’s believability.

What song best describes the state you are in now?

“I Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing.” I am enjoying every moment of my life.
