Lovi Poe
Lovi Poe will play Gregoria de Jesus in the historical biopic “Lakambini (Woman Leader),” codirected by indie stalwarts Jeffrey Jeturian and Ellen Ongkeko-Marfil.
A teaser featuring Poe as Oryang, wife of revolutionary hero Andres Bonifacio, was launched on Sunday, during the Women’s Day parade organized by the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW), the film’s copresentor.
The filming coincides with PCW’s 40th founding anniversary and Oryang’s 140th birth anniversary this year. Bayani San Diego Jr.
