Christina Perri arrives in Manila for concert
MANILA, Philippines—American singer-songwriter Christina Perri has arrived in the country for the Manila leg of her Head or Heart tour. Perri’s flight touched down at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 on Wednesday at 6:05 p.m.
Perri rose to fame in 2010 after her self-written track “Jar of Hearts” was featured on the Fox show “So You Think You Can Dance.” She was then signed by Atlantic Records in the same year.
A year later, the 28-year-old singer released “A Thousand Years” which became part of the soundtrack for the popular vampire-themed fantasy romance “Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn (Part 1).”
The singer-songwriter has released two full-length albums: Her debut album “Lovestrong” and her second studio album “Head or Heart,” which she is currently promoting via a tour.
Perri will be performing at Smart Araneta Coliseum on March 5 at 8 p.m. The concert is organized by Midas Promotions.
