Depressed hunk stress-eats, packs on poundage
MANILA, Philippines—Dashing Hunk has been scarce of late because he has gained a lot of weight. A lot. Our spy says DH is depressed and copes by stuffing his mouth.
Is it because DH’s career is in the dumpster? It doesn’t help that a project that DH has bankrolled is likewise in limbo. He is experiencing serious cash-flow problems. Several benefactors have turned their backs on him.
In any case, spy insists DH is still a looker. Should he run after chubby chasers then?
Cute Heartthrob’s career is in danger of crashing before it can even take off.
Sources complain that CH’s Feisty
Mommyger is “difficult to work with,” often complaining when CH does not get “enough” exposure in a show.
You know, classic stage mom.
Alas, CH’s launching project flopped big time.
Troubled Charmer had to parry all sorts of controversies in the past due to his stormy love life.
TC is such a magnet for obsessive gays and girls. A spy happened to stand beside TC in a public toilet and found out why.
No wonder his last lover went nuts, the spy gasped. TC is a gifted child!
From the Inquirer tabloid Bandera:
Friends are worried about Glamorous Celebrity, who’s addicted to fragrances.
GC instructs assistants to spray a room with air freshener before she arrives. She dabs various scents on her body as well.
Those chemicals are a health risk, well-meaning pals insist.
Top of the Talk Show
For those who missed last weekend’s TV gabfests (and why we are moved, if we are moved):
Sen. Chiz Escudero on what he thought while watching Heart Evangelista walk down the aisle: “Sobrang ganda niya… wala ka nang mahihiling pa.” (Wala na?)
Heart’s promise to Chiz: “I’ll always be in love with you and appreciate all the things you do for me.” (Aww.)
Sen. Chiz’s promise: “Tuturuan kitang magmasahe, magluto, maglinis, magplantsa at maglaba!” (Back to basics.)
Anjanette Abayari, asked by Lolit Solis why she didn’t want a baby with ex-boyfriend Gabby Concepcion: “Because I didn’t want you forever hating me!” (In show biz, every deal goes back to the manager.)
Daniel Padilla, asked what he learned from the “leaked audio recording issue”: “Huwag magtitiwala agad… piliin ang kaibigan… at lahat ng bagay nadadaan sa usapan… makikilala mo ang tunay na nagmamahal sa inyo.” (Growing up fast, isn’t he?)
Nora Aunor, asked if John
Rendez is her great love: “Hindi naman. Diyos ko, parang anak ko na ’yan… andiyan si Papa Boyet (Christopher de Leon) at Papa Pip (Tirso Cruz III). At ang bata-bata naman nu’n, para naman akong nanggahasa!” (She has earned the right to say anything…)
Nora, asked if it’s true that she “courted” and gave Vilma Santos roses back in the day: “Hindi ko ikinahihiya ’yun— totoo ’yun! Bata pa ako idol ko na si ’mare… Crush ko! Hahaha! Lukaret ako eh, so bumili ako ng rosas, pumunta ako sa bahay niya alas-siyete, dumating siya alas-kuwatro. Pinaakyat naman ako, wala namang nangyari. Umuwi na lang ako! Paghanga lang… baka isipin ng mga tao ano ako, ah!”
(… such as these.)
Kris Aquino, asked by Nora if she plans to run for office in the next elections: “Hindi po. You all know what my priority is—mga anak ko… I want to be the best mom I can be.” (Been there, been that.)
Xian Lim, who caught the ire of Albay Gov. Joey Salceda for allegedy being rude on reports he told the politician’s staff that he didn’t come to Albay to promote it when presented with souvenirs: “Hinding-hindi ko masasabi ’yung kine-claim nila. Una sa lahat alam ko na it’s very offensive—ang tatay at lola ko taga-Bicol.” (Beside the point.)
Xian on Gov. Joey’s Facebook rants: “Nasaktan ako. Sabi ko, ‘Saan naman galing ’to?’ I was happy with the show. Pumunta ako sa Albay para magpasaya, hindi para mambastos. My mom raised me to be a respectful man.” (Beside the point!)
Xian on Gov. Joey saying the actor is probably not managed well: “Star Magic always told me to be humble in every way possible and to keep an open mind.” (Beside the point, no?)
Xian’s message to Gov. Joey: “Kung ano man po ’yung nakarating sa inyo, hindi po ’yun totoo… and I’m very sorry.” (That’s more like it.)
