‘Sayaw’ off to Hawaii

Alvin Yapan and Alemberg Ang’s “Ang Sayaw ng Dalawang Kaliwang Paa” is the only Filipino film competing for the Halekulani Golden Orchid award at the 31st Hawaii International Film Festival. Other Filipino films that will be screened at the Hawaii fest, which will run from October 13 to 23, are Auraeus Solito’s “Busong,” Marlon Rivera’s “Ang Babae sa Septic Tank,” Erick Salud’s “Ligo na U, Lapit na Me,” Quark Henares’ “Rakenrol” and Paul Soriano’s “Thelma.” Bayani San Diego Jr.
