MANILA, Philippines–Get ready as Maroon 5 returns to Manila for a one-night concert on September 17! It will be the multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning rock band’s third performance in the Philippines.
Part of “The Maroon 5 World Tour 2015,” and highlighting the band’s fifth studio album, V, Maroon 5’s Philippine swing will be held at SM Mall of Asia Arena.
The show is promoted by Music Management International (#MMILive) and Live Nation. Tickets will be available starting March 6, 2015, at all SM Ticket outlets, www.smtickets.com.
V features “Maps” which set a record for the highest debut by a group on Top 40 radio charts in 18 years. Its second single, “Animals”, peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. The third single “Sugar” also made news when frontman Adam Levine and his band surprised Los Angeles brides and grooms on their big days with mini concerts to shoot the song’s music video – which now has over 125 million views on YouTube.
Special guest is the Swedish trio, DIRTY LOOPS. Formed in 2008 while attending the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, the band’s big break came when their version of Lady Gaga’s ‘Just Dance’ became an overnight viral sensation. The band released their debut album Loopified on Universal Records in 2014, which boasts ten original tracks including standout single ‘Hit Me’.
