Since it’s still the Love Month and Chinese New Year is fast approaching, I sought feng shui master and mi amiga Marites Allen’s advice for celeb couples this year, so they will remain each other’s yin and yang. (Check out your own monthly forecast on the Frigga Charmed Life fan page and the lucky fashion website, www.frigga.co.uk.)
May there be no black sheep or wolf in sheep’s clothing in your life in this Year of the Sheep!
Dingdong Dantes (Monkey), Marian Rivera (Rat)
Wonderful things await the Monkey and Rat, either individually, or as a couple. As astrological allies, you complement, and are compatible with, each other. You inspire and, at the same time, challenge each other, which makes things even more exciting. The Monkey will be confident and the Rat will enjoy many positive indications this year. What’s even more important is that both of you share the same values and ambitions.
John Lloyd Cruz (Boar), Angelica Panganiban (Tiger)
Great love, great time, good year for the fun-loving Tiger and Boar. Both know how to enjoy life and are demonstrative of their affections. Completion luck is indicated for both of you—this means a generally good and productive year. You bring out the best in each other and, being both generous and outgoing, you will always be surrounded by like-minded friends and colleagues. Socializing figures well this year.
Matteo Guidicelli (Snake), Sarah Geronimo (Dragon)
Gerald Anderson (Snake), Maja Salvador (Dragon)
The more time they spend together, the more good fortune there will be for the Dragon and Snake. Although these signs bear contradictions, they still complement each other. When one’s luck is on a roll and the other’s is down, your genuine feelings for each other help you through the humps. This relationship will soon reach a level that is spiritual and more positive, thus drawing you even closer.
Robin Padilla (Rooster), Mariel Rodriguez (Rat)
John Prats (Rat), Isabel Oli (Rooster)
The Rooster is challenged by inauspicious energies this year. The Rat, as partner, can help bring good luck, but the Rooster must be gracious enough to seek and accept help when offered. With such luck imbalance, expect a bumpy ride this year for those who have been married for some time and even those who are just starting out together. The Rooster is advised to take a step back and appreciate the fact that his or her partner has better prospects. Being stubborn or arrogant about it will not help.
James Yap (Dog), Michela Cazzola (Boar)
When the otherwise ideal lovers Dog and Boar are individually faced with weak energies this year, expect a not-so-rosy relationship. They may have to deal with some issues, but because they are both inherently loving and giving, it is quite possible that they will still come together harmoniously. Love will prevail.
Aga Muhlach (Rooster), Charlene Gonzales (Tiger)
The Tiger and the Rooster manage to have a harmonious union when they learn to respect their differences. The key is to use those differences to support each other rather than allow problems to draw them apart. In 2015, it will be best to rein in expectations and not meddle too much in the partner’s personal affairs.
Paul Soriano (Rooster), Toni Gonzaga (Boar)
Richard Gutierrez (Boar), Sarah Lahbati (Rooster)
This is a match that will work this year if the luck-challenged Rooster gets proper encouragement from the luckier Boar. And that is likely to happen because the Boar is the cooler and more relaxed of the pair this year. Whatever issues the Rooster may have in 2015 will melt away with the Boar’s loving attention.
Zanjoe Marudo (Dog), Bea Alonzo (Rabbit)
The Dog and the Rabbit are secret friends in Chinese astrology. This year has positive indications for a wonderful life together as they both enjoy Peach Blossom Luck. There may be obstacles if there are thoughts of settling down, but both Rabbit and Dog are passionate, grounded, and highly compatible. There will be happy occasions for this pair this year.
John Estrada (Ox), Priscilla Meirelles (Boar)
The Ox and the Boar may see the same things differently, but they always managed to find common ground. Speaking of which, they are both warm and loyal and supportive of each other. When misunderstandings and conflicts arise, forgiveness is just around the corner. It’s easy to see why this union is meant to be.
Zoren Legaspi (Boar), Carmina Villaroel (Rabbit)
Another pair of astrological allies that are meant for each other. Even better, this year is filled with positive and exciting prospects for the Rabbit and Boar. No serious hurdles are bound to hamper this union; only lots of loving energies that create support, sustenance, and plenty of good and happy times.
Richard Gomez (Horse), Lucy Torres-Gomez (Tiger)
The Tiger and Horse both have weak personal energies in 2015, but that doesn’t mean they won’t roar and leap together. Despite some difficulties, they understand each other and manage to have fun working through issues. Both these signs appear in the year’s destiny chart, creating exciting possibilities. Going on a trip together will be very good. The coming years will see an even stronger union.
Luis Manzano (Rooster), Angel Locsin (Ox)
The Ox and the Rooster form another set of astrological allies. The resourceful Ox indulges the Rooster’s nagging need to discover new ventures. While the Ox enjoys better feng shui luck this year, the fiery Rooster continues to sparkle. They have the potential for being a perfect pair that can attain a harmonious relationship, while working on their individual careers and respecting each other’s personal space.
Good girl
Kapamilya’s newest teen star Janella Salvador’s drama series “Oh My G” (before “It’s Showtime” on ABS-CBN’s Prime-Tanghali) is the most watched daytime TV program, based on data from Kantar Media.
It also ruled social networking sites such as Twitter where the hashtag #OhMyGTheBeginning became a trending topic. Janella’s first teleserye is close to her heart because of the inspiration, lessons, and values it imparts to teens like her.
The show’s concept sprang from a request by Carmelite nuns for ABS-CBN president Charo Santos-Concio’s help in celebrations for the fifth birth centenary of St. Teresa of Avila next month.
Janella is sure that kids and teens will learn the importance of humility, love for others and detachment from material things from the show.
Oh, my good girl! Down with the mean girls.
