Music, prayers and a peace covenant

Musical artists of different genres came together for a peace rally and concert on Feb. 6, as much to mark the 2015 UN World Interfaith Harmony Week as to salute the Fallen 44.

The songs performed at the event and the spiels delivered between numbers expressed the artists’ sentiments about the Mamasapano incident.

Musicians, audiences and police officers in attendance participated in a candle-lighting ceremony and signing of a peace covenant that highlighted the gathering at Quezon Memorial Circle.

Policemen turned up for salute to fallen comrades at Quezon Memorial Circle.
