Rock singer Bamboo’s formula for the perfect love song? “It should be real and personal,” he said during an endorsement event for Jollibee. “It can be your own experience or that of someone you know, but the inspiration has to be real. A love song is more special when it comes from the heart.”

Bamboo, a “The Voice of the Philippines” coach, said he almost backed out of “The Voice Kids”: “I felt it would be too hard for me to judge kids. I didn’t want to let them down. But I realized that I had the rare opportunity to help young talents achieve their dreams, so that’s what I set out to do.” Oliver Pulumbarit
