Digital TV service launch
First of two parts
The Kapamilya broadcast network on Thursday will launch ABS-CBN TVplus, a service that vows to deliver, via digital transmission, “the clearest pictures and sounds,” plus free exclusive channels on top of its free-to-air channels.
“Our digital box, more popularly known as ‘mahiwagang black box,’ puts an end to snowy and cloudy analog reception,” said Carlo Katigbak, head of the network’s Access Group.
Katigbak added, “On top of receiving our two channels, ABS-CBN and ABS-CBN Sports+Action, there will be four more exclusive free-to-air channels—CineMo, Yey, Knowledge Channel and DZMM Teleradyo.”
