Cheer Factor: ‘Busong’ goes to Poland, Canada

After Mill Valley and Hawaii, Auraeus Solito’s “Busong” is going to two more fests this month. It will have a gala screening at the 27th Warsaw International Film Festival, to be held in Poland from Oct. 7 to 16. Solito is also part of the jury in Warsaw’s Free Spirit section, where another Filipino film, Alvin Yapan’s “Gayuma,” is competing. After Warsaw, “Busong” is headed to the imagine NATIVE fest set in Toronto, Canada from October 19 to 23. Bayani San Diego Jr.
