Rushes: Teen stars make insider insecure

/ 12:12 AM January 14, 2015

Seems Feisty Insider is far more aggressive than Perky Ingénue, a close relative. PI doesn’t mind sharing space with Pretty Newcomer and Hunky Partner. But FI goes ballistic when PI is lumped with PN and HP in the same waiting area.

In FI’s mind, PI is a way bigger star than PN, HP and other contemporaries. FI may not be mistaken, but that doesn’t warrant dreadful behavior.

FI often badmouths PN and HP in front of colleagues. Is FI threatened by their booming careers? After all, PN and HP is likely to overtake PI if she lets her guard down. Competition rears its ugly head once again.

Whenever they had a chance, LC would fool around with Major Celeb, who is now AS’ beau.

Those trysts happened long before AS’ time. Still, AS can’t bring herself to trust MC when LC is around. Is this why LC can’t work with MC?

Unless, of course, the contract says AS may keep vigil on the set, to guard MC.

Nasty drunk

This item comes straight from Hollywood:

Beloved Hotshot can be a mean drunk. Beset with a string of career missteps and box-office bombs, BH drank like a fish to forget his woes.

Which meant Gorgeous Sweetheart had to live with BH’s nasty side, 24-7.

GS soon threw in the towel. Spin doctors tried to put the blame on GS, who retaliated by blabbing about BH’s Jekyll-and-Hyde personality. It was a matter of self-preservation.

Downgrade

From the Inquirer tabloid Bandera:

Seasoned Thespian was all set to move to Major Studio, where Loyal Supporter was haggling for a good deal.

Alas, MS’ offer was way lower than ST’s previous talent fee in Old Company.

Unfortunately, LS got sidelined and had to drop out from stressful negotiations with the penny-pinching execs.

The deal went pfft. ST decided to focus on prestige projects instead of joining MS.

Top of the Talk Shows

For those who missed last weekend’s TV gabfests (and why we are moved, if we are moved):

Aiza Seguerra on why she had no prenup with wife Liza Diño: “I want to share whatever I have with her. Para sa ’kin ’yun ang konsepto ng being together,eh. You share your life, you share everything.”

Aiza to Liza: “Masaya ako na tayo. ’Di ko ma-imagine ’yung sarili ko na hindi tayo, na may iba kang kasama—ako lang dapat! I will honor you always.” (Shaks.)

Jennylyn Mercado hasn’t visited ex-boyfriend’s pad recently.

Jennylyn Mercado hasn’t visited ex-boyfriend’s pad recently.

Rafael Rosell is saving up before proposing.

Rafael Rosell is saving up before proposing.

Rafael Rosell, asked if he’s ready to propose to his girlfriend: “We’ve only known each other for a year… you need to fully know a person bago ka mag-commit. ’Di pa rin ako ready mag-settle down…malaking budget din ang pagpapakasal!” (Ah, the punch line.)

Rafael, asked if it’s true that being vegan suppresses sexual urges: “Wala akong napansin na ganun.” (And let’s not go there.)

Onemig Bondoc on why he and wife Valerie Bariou separated: “We just can’t meet halfway. For her it’s her way or the high way. Sa mundo niya, siya lang ang puwede magkamali, pero ’yung mga tao sa paligid niya hindi. ’Yun ang reason kung bakit ’di ko na kinaya. Pinalayas niya ako sa condo namin na ako nagbabayad ng lahat.” (Beware the short-changed spouse.)

Kris Aquino on reconciling with Ai-Ai de las Alas: “I was ready for her to snub me. Nakakatuwa kasi it came at a right time. Grateful ako na ready ’yung puso niya. Nagpakumbaba ako.” (Okay.)

Iñigo Pascual denies rumor that he’s a “two-timer.”

Iñigo Pascual denies rumor that he’s a “two-timer.”

Iñigo Pascual, asked about rumors that he’s a “two-timer,” with Julia Barretto and Sofia Andres: “Being in a relationship is not my priority right now…di totoong nililigawan ko si Julia. [Sofi and I] are good friends… we have something special.” (Don’t go down this road.)

Pokwang on her kissing scene with American actor Lee O’Brian in the movie

“Edsa Woolworth”: “Yum!” (Good job.)

Pokwang, asked if she’s ready to love again: “Pag talagang andiyan na, go! Pero ngayon ayoko munang umassume-assume.” (Good answer.)
