I was at Healthy Options to pick up a bottle of magnesium tablets and Carolyn Dean’s book “The Magnesium Miracle,” which reveals the benefits of magnesium. It lowers the risk of heart disease, prevents stroke and obesity, treats diabetes and improves mood and memory.
Magnesium serves as a catalyst in chemical reactions in the body, produces energy, synthesizes protein, transmits nerve signals and relaxes muscles.
The alarming fact is that food sources no longer contain enough minerals, no matter how much of them we eat!
I now have Vitamins B and C injected directly. The dried flowers and leaves of the cachabong tree are relaxants when boiled into coffee-brown color—it helps me sleep well at night.
It is best to be careful with food intake: No fried food and nothing spicy. No coffee, no chocolates, no pineapple or ice cream. And, I have begun juicing vegetables.
