I was at Healthy Options to pick up a bottle of magnesium tablets and Carolyn Dean’s book “The Magnesium Miracle,” which reveals the benefits of magnesium. It lowers the risk of heart disease, prevents stroke and obesity, treats diabetes and improves mood and memory.

Magnesium serves as a catalyst in chemical reactions in the body, produces energy, synthesizes protein, transmits nerve signals and relaxes muscles.

The alarming fact is that food sources no longer contain enough minerals, no matter how much of them we eat!
