Angel Locsin, Julia Montes win acting awards in 13th Gawad Tanglaw
MANILA, Philippines—Actresses Angel Locsin and Julia Montes won Best Actress awards in the 13th Gawad Tanglaw (Gawad Tagapuring mga Akademisyan ng Aninong Gumagalaw) for television, a report from entertainment website PEP.ph said Friday.
Locsin was recognized for her portrayal in “The Legal Wife” and Montes for “Ikaw Lamang.”
Meanwhile, Piolo Pascual, Martin Escudero, and Coco Martin tied for the Best Actor Award.
Pascual was recognized for his drama series “Hawak Kamay,” Escudero for “Positive” and Martin for “Ikaw Lamang.”
In the film category, Angelica Panganiban and Nora Aunor bagged the Best Actress Award while Allen Dizon was Best Actor.
