Before 2014 ends, here are insights to inform the closing of the year with meaning:
Time is a precious resource that can take us forward in our existence. The quality of our life depends on how wisely we use our time.
Time flies for those who have so much to do. It ticks slowly for those who are beset with boredom and idleness.
We always have time to fill our stomach, but often forget to nourish ourselves spiritually.
Eternal beings
We like stories that end with the phrase, “…and they lived happily ever after.” Indeed, it is our natural desire as eternal beings to crave for unending happiness—and those who seek and work hard to find permanent shelter attain peace and eternal joy.
Wasted time means doing activities that are nonsensical, irrational and harmful to ourselves, others and the environment.
We’re aware of the time of day, but not the real purpose of our existence.
If you realize you’ve wasted precious time, change your pace, maximize your potential and take advantage of the opportunities you’ve been given to attain true happiness.
Time is precious, timing is critical, and the dimension beyond time is our ultimate destination.
Go full speed ahead in the right direction, and never toward a misleading course.
After a full day of work and struggle, we must find time to rest in God’s embrace.
