MANILA, Philippines—President Benigno Aquino III will be the first guest of comedian Vice Ganda on his weekly television talk show “Gandang Gabi Vice” in 2015.
In a photo posted on the official Facebook account of Vice Ganda (facebook.com/vicegandaofficialph), the TV host-comedian was seen conducting an interview with the President at Malacañang Palace.
The photo bears the caption: “ABANGAN!!! @praybeytbenjamin with The President #PNOY #GandangGabiVice.”
The comedian has announced on Monday that Aquino would be guesting on his TV talk show “Gandang Gabi Vice” on ABS-CBN 2.
In an interview on ABS-CBN talk show “Aquino and Abunda Tonight,” the comedian-TV host responded to host Kris Aquino’s question on why he would be at Malacañang on Tuesday. “It’s because I have a one-on-one interview with the President himself, PNoy,” Vice Ganda said.
Host Aquino asked Vice Ganda what he would be wearing during the interview. “Can I wear short shorts and knee-high boots?” Vice Ganda said, jokingly. He added he was advised to wear something formal.
“I’m very excited; I haven’t even thought of what questions to ask him,” the comedian admitted.
Kris is the youngest sister of the President. Boy Abunda, on the other hand, was once considered by the President for a Cabinet post.
The episode will be aired on Jan. 4, 2015.
